NEXT ME: la prossima versione di noi
Aggiornamento: 21 set

Da qui nasce NEXT ME.
Scomodità no.
NEXT ME sarà anche Life e Hospitality.
Perché NEXT ME

ENGLISH VERSION
I have never really believed in the idea that, once a woman reaches a certain age, she should start removing things from her life: colours, desires, space, perhaps even the freedom to be noticed. I think exactly the opposite.
With time, we get to know ourselves better. And, if we are lucky, we learn something even more important: we no longer have to prove anything to anyone.
That is where NEXT ME begins.
It is not a blog “for older ladies”. And it is not simply a fashion blog either. It is a space dedicated to the next version of ourselves: the one who may be over 40, has already lived quite a lot, works, rushes, changes her mind, starts again, makes mistakes, travels, raises children, builds projects, looks in the mirror and sometimes thinks: all right… now what? Now comes the good part.
Style, yes. Discomfort, no.
After many years in fashion, I have learned that being elegant does not necessarily mean being uncomfortable. I want trousers that fall beautifully and still let me move, a jacket that makes me feel polished but genuinely works through a day of work, a look that can take me from a meeting to a check-in, from an appointment to an aperitivo, without forcing me to go home and change three times.
For me, real luxury today is feeling good without giving up style. So in NEXT ME we will talk about clothes that are genuinely wearable, not only beautiful in photographs.
Beauty, without declaring war on time
I want to talk about beauty without that strange obsession in which every product aimed at an adult woman seems to promise to erase something. I do not want to erase my face. I want to take care of it: to understand what really works, what is worth buying and what is simply marketing.
Etiquette that does not make people unbearable
Good manners are part of communication. Knowing how to introduce yourself, how to dress for an occasion, how to welcome someone or how to behave in a business meeting is useful. But there is one rule that comes before all the others for me: never use good manners to make someone else feel inadequate.
Sometimes adapting to the environment and being slightly less formal is far more elegant than being impeccable and impossible to tolerate. Knowing the rules also means understanding when we can happily break them.
Model Tips: small tricks that can transform a photo
After many years in front of a camera, I will share small tricks I have learned from working as a model: how to stand when someone suddenly takes out a phone, where to put your hands, how to find your light, and how to avoid that wonderful expression we all make when someone unexpectedly says, “Photo!”
And then there is real life
NEXT ME will also be about Life and Hospitality. Because my work does not happen only in front of a camera: there are homes to prepare, guests to welcome, trips, meetings, events, family, work, unexpected situations, and those days when the look of the day simply means managing to leave the house wearing two matching shoes.
Not a perfect life. A cared-for life. Which is very different.
Why NEXT ME
The name comes from a simple question: what is my next version? Not the younger version. Not the woman I was ten or twenty years ago. The next one. The one who knows more but still wants to discover more, who wants to feel beautiful without asking permission from her birth certificate, who chooses more carefully, knows the rules and decides which ones are worth keeping.
Because after 40 we do not enter a phase in which we are supposed to become invisible. We enter a phase in which we can finally become much more selective about who we want to be.
